VPG is an Australian based company with offices and manufacturing in Gillman, South Australia. Established in 2010 to manufacture the VPG Emergency Pipe Repair product under license to the Australian Government Department of Defense ( DSTO ), VPG has grown rapidly to offer military and commercial clients a growing range of complimentary components.
VPG is responsible for the complete design and manufacture of exceptional pipe repair clamping systems including the VPG EMERGENCY, VPG MAXI, and accessories. All products are exhaustively tested for longevity in harsh environments and for ease, speed, and simplicity of use.
The VP JOINT is designed to expand and contract up to 30mm while under pressure. The robust design of the VP Joint ensures a water tight seal is maintained at all times and can be used where expansion and contraction of pipes is going to cause problems and to allow for easy installation of valves and other fittings. The VP Joint is available in both high pressure ( Brass ), as well as low pressure ( plastic ) versions.
Designed as an emergency clamp where time to contain a leak is of absolute importance, they are suitable for use with many liquids due to their superior seal and can be specified with either nitrile or viton. The clamps are tested to exceed 16 Bar ( 235 PSI ) internal fluid pressure and in most cases can be applied in less than 60 seconds. They are manufactured in four widths ranging from 70 – 272mm.
Developed initially for rapid repair of pipe work in combat situations, the VPG Emergency Clamp has applications across a wide variety of industries whenever speed of repair can save lives, save the environment, and / or save significant cost.
VPG Emergency Clamps are available in four different widths, single, double, triple and quad. The standard clamp is capable of spanning the range 100 – 220mm diameter, however VPG have developed additional clamps to enable pipe sizes spanning 75 to 600mm diameter to be repaired.
These are suitable for permanent pipe repair on pipes transporting fluids up to 40 Bar ( 500 PSI ).
Engineered for strength, MAXI Clamps offer a fully circumferential seal and are available in standard sizes covering 25 – 700mm*
Manufactured from marine grade stainless steel, VPG Maxi is designed to survive in the harshest environments, providing absolute surety of seal. * Larger sizes and specials can be supplied upon request.
